SBpoet Computer Repair Fundraiser
UPDATE June 1st: We're done...US$475 raised!!
SBpoet, a frequent contributor to flickr and several other online spaces I inhabit, is
short the US$700 she needs to repair her laptop computer. This loss will impact on her participation in many places where we value her presence, so..... I propose a blog-a-thon to raise some funds to be applied against this noble cause :-) using the secure PayPal donation system.

I've set things off by making a US$50 donation (heck, I would have spent it on Häagen-Dazs or something else I really don't need).
