Four full-page ads in The Globe and Mail and that's not cheap. Sympatico and MSN are pulling out all the stops to hype their new portal service. Whoop-de-doo. There is nothing new except the ability to move entries between columns and move columns around (everything, of course, from a pre-selected menu of Sympatico-MSN approved choices). Big deal.
If you really want my attention (and your advertising dollar), you'd let me add my own RSS feeds and display them in the pretty little boxes too, instead of just providing one measly little box for my bookmarks.
And if you think this is gonna get me to come to Hotmail, you need to give your head a shake and top up the caffeine in your virtual coffee, all you P.R. people at Sympatico MSN. Nuh-uh. Way too little, way too late. I hope Gmail eats Hotmail's lunch.
I also notice, with unalloyed glee, the eBay prices on Gmail invitations dropping like a rock. Hee hee hee...now tell me, those of you who shelled out as much as $262.00 for an invitation: was it worth it? Seriously??
Ooh I am in an evil mood today...
